The small print, in normal words
How this shop works.
Last updated . If something here contradicts what a page elsewhere on this site says, this page is the one that is binding.
Who you are buying from
Quaryn is a sole trader based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, selling wholesale goods to resellers and to the public.
- hello@quaryn.shop
- Orders
- Track an order with your order number and email
- We answer
- within one business day, and always within three
There is no phone line. A shop this size answering a phone badly is worse than a shop that answers email properly, and email leaves both of us a record of what was agreed.
Returns and refunds
If it arrives broken, faulty, or is not what the page described
Email within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photograph. You get a replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer, and you do not pay to send anything back — in most cases we will not ask for the item at all, because return postage to the factory costs more than the item does.
If you simply changed your mind
Email within 14 days of delivery. Send it back unused and in its packaging and you get the item price refunded. You pay the return postage, and the original shipping is not refunded.
If it never turns up
Delivery windows are on each product page. If tracking has not moved for 10 days past the top of that window, email us and we will replace it or refund it. You do not have to argue the point with a courier.
What is not returnable
Nothing is excluded on principle. Items that have been programmed, engraved or otherwise personalised to you cannot be resold, so those are replacement-or-refund on fault only.
Refunds go back to the card that paid, through Stripe, and take five to ten business days to appear depending on your bank. We do not hold store credit.
Terms of sale
Prices are in US dollars and are set on the server, not in your browser. Shipping is shown before you pay. There is nothing added after that — no import charge, no handling fee, no processing fee. Any duty owed on goods entering your country is covered by us for orders shipped to the United States.
An order is an offer until we accept it. If something sells out, is mispriced by an obvious error, or cannot be shipped to you, we will cancel and refund in full rather than substitute something else.
Delivery times are estimates given in good faith from the supplier's own published figures. They are not guarantees, and they are not promises about a date. Where an order ships directly from a manufacturer outside the United States, that is stated on the product page.
Title and risk pass to you on delivery.
You must be 18 or older to buy. This shop is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
Liability. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud, and nothing here removes a statutory right you have as a consumer. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.
Governing law. Minnesota, United States.
About the resale figures
Product pages show a typical resale price and what you would keep at it. Those figures are a description of what the category has been observed to sell for. They are an illustration, not a forecast, and they are not a promise, guarantee or representation that you will earn anything at all.
What you actually get depends on where you sell, how you sell, what you charge, your costs, your local market and your own effort — none of which we control or can see. Many resellers make less than the figure shown. Some make nothing.
We sell goods at wholesale prices. There is no fee to join, no territory, no required purchase beyond the goods themselves, no recruitment, and nothing to buy except stock. If any of that ever changes, this page changes first.
Where the reviews come from
The reviews on a product page are reviews of that part, written by people who bought it from the manufacturer — on the marketplace we buy through, not on this site. Every block says whose they are and where they were published. They are not reviews of Quaryn and we do not present them as such.
We do not write reviews, buy them, sell them, generate them, incentivise them, or ask anybody to leave one that says something in particular. We do not remove a review for being negative — where a critical review exists in a source we quote, it is quoted with the rest.
Where a marketplace posts a rating on a buyer's behalf because they did not leave one in time, that is not a review and it is stripped out. When that happens, the average rating is not shown either, because it includes them.
Privacy
What we collect
Only what an order needs: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and an optional company name. There are no accounts and no passwords on this site.
What we count, and what we do not do
We keep a small visit counter of our own, on our own server, so we can
tell which link or video a visit came from. For each page you open it
records: the day, the page address (without anything after a
? except a tag like utm_source,
utm_medium, utm_campaign or a partner
ref code), the website you came from (the site name only,
never the page), whether you are on a phone or a computer, and which
steps of buying you reached: viewed a product, added it to the bag,
started checkout, paid. To tell “two people” from “one
person twice” in a day it keeps a short scrambled code made from
your connection and browser plus a secret that is thrown away every
day, so it cannot be turned back into you and cannot follow you from
one day to the next. We never store your IP address.
If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the counter records nothing at all. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no Meta pixel, no session recording, no fingerprinting, and no third-party script counting visits. We do not sell, rent or share personal information for advertising, and we never have.
Cookies and storage
This site sets no cookies of its own, and the visit counter uses none. Your bag is kept in your own browser's local storage so it survives a refresh; clearing your browser data clears it. If you arrived through a Quaryn Partner's link, their partner code is kept there too (or the code you typed at checkout), so the 5% partner discount applies and the sale can be credited to them; it holds the code and the date and nothing about you. When you open the payment panel, Stripe loads its own script and sets its own cookies for fraud prevention — those are strictly necessary to take a payment, and Stripe's use of them is governed by their privacy policy.
Who else sees your details
Two parties, and only what each one needs:
- Stripe takes the payment. Card numbers are typed into Stripe's own frame and never reach our server, which is why this shop cannot leak a card number: it does not have one.
- The supplier who ships your order receives your name, delivery address and phone number, because a parcel cannot be addressed without them. Where a product ships from outside the United States — which is stated on the product page — this is an international transfer of your personal data, currently to suppliers in China. It happens only to fulfil your order, only for orders you place, and never for marketing.
We email you about your order. We do not run a marketing list, and you will not be added to one without asking. If that ever changes, every message will carry a working unsubscribe link.
How long we keep it
Two different answers, because two different things are being kept.
The financial record of an order — its number, date, what was bought, and what it cost — is kept for seven years, which is what tax and dispute rules require.
Your name, email, phone number and address are deleted after 180 days. A card payment can be disputed for up to 120 days and a dispute is answered with proof of delivery, so those details are needed until that window shuts — and after it, they are not needed at all. Keeping a customer’s home address for seven years because an accountant needs a total is the kind of thing that turns a small shop into somebody else’s data breach. So we do not.
One consequence, stated plainly: once an order has been stripped this way, the tracking page can no longer look it up, because there is no longer an email address on it to check against. By then the parcel arrived months ago.
What we deliberately do not collect
There is no account to create and no password to choose. We do not ask for a date of birth, a gender, or anything about you beyond what is needed to send a parcel and take a payment. We do not log your IP address to disk — it is held in memory only, for a few minutes, to stop one machine hammering the checkout. We do not build a profile of you, and there is nothing to build one from.
Children
This shop is for people buying stock to resell, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their details, write to us and we will delete them.
Quaryn Partners
If you sign up as a partner we keep what the form asks for: your code, your name, the platform and handle you post from, your email, your phone number, and what you tell us about what you do. If you choose automatic payouts, you connect your bank on Stripe's own pages: Stripe collects your identity, bank and tax details under its connected account agreement, and we see only whether the account can be paid. We use it only to run your partner account, reach you about it, and send your commission. If your payments approach the amount at which US tax law requires a 1099, we will ask for a W-9; that form is kept only for tax filing. Partners must be 18 or older. Your dashboard is opened by a private key that only you hold; we store only a scrambled form of it, so we cannot read it back, and a lost link is replaced rather than recovered. For each sale credited to you we keep the order number, the pieces and the amount owed or paid. We keep payment records for as long as tax law requires; the rest we delete when you ask.
If something goes wrong
If personal information here is ever exposed, we will say so — to the people affected, directly, describing what was exposed and what to do about it, without waiting to be asked and without waiting to be certain it was serious.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, under any definition of those words, including California’s. There is no “do not sell my information” link on this site because there is nothing for it to switch off.
Your rights
Email hello@quaryn.shop and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — except records we are required to keep for tax. We do this for anybody who asks, wherever they live, rather than checking first whether a particular law obliges us to.
Accessibility
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Every product image carries alternative text, the site works from a keyboard, headings are in order, and everything that moves stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
If any part of this site is hard to use with a screen reader, a keyboard, or anything else, email hello@quaryn.shop and say what happened. We will fix it and tell you when it is done. If you cannot complete an order because of it, we will take the order by email.
Intellectual property
Product photographs on this site are the manufacturers' own, used to show the goods we sell. Trade marks that appear on or in connection with a product belong to their owners; naming a company to describe what a product is for does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from that company, and none is claimed.
If you own a right you believe is being infringed here, email hello@quaryn.shop with the work concerned, where it appears on this site, your contact details, and a statement that you are the owner or authorised to act for them. We take listings down first and discuss afterwards.
